AWARDS – for those who need nationally recognized Awards eg. teachers
Capricorn Seakayaking (CSK) is a licensed National Training Provider (No 27) for Australian Canoeing (AC). We run a variety of AC Awards including:

SEA KAYAK TRAINING CALENDAR 2012

COASTAL GUIDE SIT-ON-TOP AWARD
4 days:
November 26 & 27 (2 days training)
November 29 & 30 (2 days assessment)
Location: Perth & Shoalwater (weather and swell dependant)
Cost: $800 per person, this can be reduced depending on numbers of participants
Minimum 2 persons required for course to proceed.

SEA KAYAK INSTRUCTOR AWARD
7 days:
2 days training leading to Sea Skills Award
3 days/2 nights overnight camp, train and assess
2 days assessment
Location: Perth, Shoalwater, Lancelin or down south (weather and swell dependant)
Cost: $1400 per person, this can be reduced depending on numbers of participants
Minimum 3 persons required for course to proceed.
Please enquire about availability and dates. We are looking to do a course in November/December, choosing dates to suit.

RPL
We can Recognise Prior Learning (RPL) for those with prior kayaking experience and current logbooks. These sessions are generally 1 to 1 and enable participants to do shorter courses/awards.

Locations
We have run these courses throughout WA, including; Broome, EcoBeach, Exmouth/Ningaloo Reef, Jurien Marine Park, Perth, Shoalwater Marine Park, Bunbury and Dunsborough/Geographe Bay.

We offer a series of introductory and intermediate skill level kayak training courses for those new to sea kayaking or wanting to develop their personal skills:

INTRO TO SEA KAYAK SKILLS 1 – 2 half days
INTRO TO SEA KAYAK SKILLS 2 – 2 half days
INTERMEDIATE SEA KAYAK SKILLS 1 – 1 full day
INTERMEDIATE SEA KAYAK SKILLS 2 – 1 full day

EXPEDITION SEA KAYAK SKILLS 2 day/overnight
