Capricorn Seakayaking has run school programs since 1999, and International School (IS) programs since 2001. International School clients have come from Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok and Perth. Destinations have included: Rottnest Island, Penguin and Seal Island, Lancelin, Swan River, Dwellingup, Walpole, Margaret River area (Blackwood River, Augusta, Hamelin Bay and Geographe Bay), Shark Bay, and Ningaloo Reef. We offer a large variety of adventure activities including: seakayaking, snorkelling, learn to surf, camping, bushwalking, environmental education and interpretation, aboriginal cultural awareness programs (delivered by local aboriginals). We sub-contract other providers for specialist activities like abseiling, rock climbing and caving. TOK can be offered. Expedition programs that fulfill the requirements of Duke of Edinborough Awards Schemes are available. We also offer youth leadership courses which are TAFE accredited and certified (to Cert 1 and 2 levels) We offer CAS options such as tree planting, mangrove and coral monitoring. We partner with other agencies to do the CAS. Safety is a key focus of ours with staff being Australian Canoeing qualified, they also have First Aid and "Working with Children Clearances". We provide Risk Analysis and Management Plans, and Emergency Response and Evacuation Plans for all activities and destinations. We have a DVD made of one IS visit, and is available to be posted for viewing. Please enquire. We welcome all inquiries and endeavor to design programs according to each schools program objectives.
